Random musings I thought I'd put together after seeing a similar list online this afternoon. Maybe it will clear up my arbitrary and capricious stance on so many things.

I believe that I am ignorant. I am aware of the fallability of my thoughts and the limits of my knowledge. Although I cannot identify a relevant example, I am sure I believe and further espouse things that are not true or are only partially true.

Noting the afforementioned, I still hold several "truths" to be readily evident, and these are the essence of my beliefs:

People must be responsible for their own actions.

Government should serve a limited role in society focusing solely on the preservation of peace and the provisioning of services essential to the forward progress of man.

I believe people who make broad sweeping statements like the previous do so because they have not thought out their position well enough and cannot offer specifics.

Alternatively, they may be running for office and would just rather not share their honest opinion either.
