So when today's 20-somethings start to hit retirement, they should expect a whole lotta nothing. Wow. Pardon me while I go off on a diatribe here.....

So if I am 27, (which I am), and the government has just told me, "When you retire, we'll be broke..." (Which they sorta did...) Then why the fuck do I need to give them money for the next 40 years?

I'll take the 7.65% of my salary you currently hork, along with the 7.65% more my employer would pay me if you weren't already stealing it and drop it in the market.... if it compounds at even 7% a year I'll kill the few hundred a month pittance you want to give me anyway....
